Pāpr, an UpTech 5 company with a vision to eliminate physical paper in the workplace and in effect have a profound impact on our environment has been in invested in by Laudato Si’ in Rome, Italy and Quake Capital in New York City. Laudato Si’ is a program being backed by the Vatican to further Pope Francis’ vision of caring for our common home – fitting right in line with Pāpr’s ambitions.

According to The Laudato Si’ website, Pāpr was chosen as one of the elite 9 to participate in The Laudato Si’ Challenge this year. The team was chosen from over 300 applicants from all over the world. Josh Israel and Devin Serago, co-founders of Pāpr, attended the 8-week accelerator program in Rome this past summer. “The companies received world-class mentorship and growth strategies, a $100k equity investment thanks to our 2017 investors, and mission-alignment advice from His Eminence Cardinal Turkson.”
